Counterfeit Detector
$20.00

A comical way of collecting money. Drop in a borrowed bill into the top of the Counterfeit Detector. Then watch it visibly shred! Your victim will gasp as their greenback is cut to ribbons in plain sight. Sound effects emanating from the detector add to the effect. Of course, the borrowed cash is unharmed, and can be reclaimed from the back of this novelty bank easily.

This gag item will really make them laugh. Very cool and looks just like it’s being shred! I’m sure there are some creative magicians out there who could turn this item into a foolery of a trick.

Batteries included.

Have you ever witnessed true mind over matter? What you are about to read is true! You hand out two small tiles for close examination. You then introduce or even borrow 2 ice cubes (yes, you can borrow them if you want). You ask a spectator to put one ice cube on each block. One of the ice cubes will be the control while the other will receive your mental waves. You now begin to concentrate on one of the ice cubes and IT IMMEDIATELY MELTS AWAY! The ice cube melts as if you placed it on a radiator! It’s as if your brain was projecting high intensity microwaves or heat!

......After 5 seconds it begins to drip!
......After 15 seconds the ice cube is lying in its own water!
......After 30 seconds the ice cube is nothing but a memory!

You never approach or come in contact with the ice cubes before, during, and after the effect. WOW! Imagine the impact this has on any audience, whether they be laymen or performers! It's just devastating!

  • Everything can be examined more than closely (even under X ray !) before, during or after the effect.
  • No chemicals.
  • There is absolutely no preparation.
  • The blocks are regular but if you ask the question the answer is no, the blocks are not producing heat in any way.
  • This is an astounding effect for walk around. Ask them to remove the ice cube from their glass and watch their face !

One for the Money (Bill Goldman)
$10.00

From the creative mind that brought us Little Bunny's Card Trick, and Mental Yarn, Bill Goldman will help you floor your spectators!

Here's how: A spectator is given a deck of cards or uses his own. He is instructed to shuffle them and select a card while the magician stands on the other side of the room with his back to the spectator. He is further instructed to put the card anywhere in the deck and shuffle the cards, remembering his selection. All of this occurs in the spectator's hands- the Magician touches NOTHING! Then, the magician asks the spectator to pick a number from one to fifty-two. The magician then deals the cards face down until he reaches that number. Setting the rest of the deck aside, he reveals that the card that was next IS the selected card! Believe it? Believe it!

Includes booklet with amazing, detailed instructions!

Matrix Poker (J. Steinmeyer/A. Wakeling)
$24.00
Matrix Poker is a strange game. The rules are very simple. So simple, that they're printed on a coin purse, which the magician displays. Along with the purse, the magician lays out 16 cards on the table. Each card has a monetary value printed on it. A spectator - completely freely, without any undue influence from the magician - selects four of the number cards. The values on the cards are added, to arrive at a value. Surprisingly, despite the completely free selection, the magician has predicted the total exactly! The very same amount the spectator selected is found inside the coin purse.

But there's more. When the number cards are flipped over, four playing cards are on the reverse. The magician predicted these cards, too! Their values were permanently printed on the coin purse all along! The trick requires no sleight of hand. It works every time, all the time.

Matrix Poker comes complete with specially printed cards (from the US Playing Card Company), custom-manufactured coin purse, illustrated, detailed instructions and specially printed bills.

Words of Jaks (J. Leslie)
$27.50

Anytime Dr. Jaks comes up in conversation the word is unanimous. He was an extremely clever man. You have come to expect nothing less from this legend. Words Of Jaks is no exception. The effects you can perform with this deck of cards is second to none. The Words Of Jaks deck is a 23 word card deck that looks so innocent yet allows you to perform trick after trick.

FOUR different principles are incorporated to give you many options. You could perform a variety of different routines right in a row.

  1. Two volunteers each select a word card from the deck. The mentalist writes his impressions on paper and when both words are compared to the predictions they match.
  2. The deck is divided between the volunteers. They each memorize a card from their deck and replace it into the others. The mentalist can ascertain which of the cards were selected even though the two decks can be shuffled by the volunteers.
  3. Any card or cards can be removed and replaced yet the mentalist knows what words were taken.
  4. One or two cards may be removed and held by the volunteers and the mentalist will know their identity and reveal their names to the volunteers.
  • The cards are printed on heavy card stock
  • These are not marked cards
  • No sleight of hand required
  • No rough and smooth
  • Updated and improved instructions by Jay Leslie

Free Will (Deddy Corbuzier)
$15.00

We all want to believe that we are in control. We want to believe that our decisions are our own. But maybe those are just beliefs....You begin by removing a small piece of paper from a cloth bag and handing the bag to a helper. You explain that you'd like their help in an experiment involving free will. Your helper removes three wooden disks from the inside of the bag. Each disk has a simple geometric shape on one side. The helper mixes up the disks and then places them face down on the table. The helper now chooses one disk for himself, one for the performer, and one to be put back in the bag. The choices are always up to the helper and they may change their mind before they commit to the selections. You now ask one final question to the helper, "Did you feel every choice you made was of your own free will?" The helper responds, "Yes." The helper now opens the piece of paper which has been on display before ANY choices were made and it explains with complete accuracy where each of the symbols is now located! A terribly unnerving reminder that the choices we make may not always be our own!

A diabolically clever effect! Insanely easy to do! FREE WILL uses no switches or sleight of hand! Everything may be examined.

Optical Wallet (Net Magic)
$20.00

A jack of hearts and nine of clubs are removed from a handsome black wallet. The nine is placed face down on the jack, and the magician announces that he will cause the nine to penetrate the jack. Supplied complete with specially printed Bicycle cards and the beautifully made prop, imported from France. Many other routines and effects are possible, a few highlighted in the illustrated instructions.

Expert Deck (H. Goldenberg)
$35.00

The effect so clean it seems impossible! You ask the spectator to choose any card (no forcing involved!). After the spectator chooses the card, ask them to return it to the deck anywhere they want. Then give the spectator the deck to shuffle (shuffling can occur before they choose the card as well); then have the spectator put the deck back on the table. Tell your spectator a number, for example 12, then ask the spectator to hold the cards and count from the top 12 cards. As they reach the 12th card you stop them and ask them to turn it over - without touching, forcing, cutting, or slight of hand the 12th card appears as the chosen card!

Quink (Phil Goldstein)
$15.00

If you're looking for an offbeat close-up routine, you've found it! The magician displays four cards, numbered 1, 2, 3, and 4. While the performer's back is turned, the cards are mixed and then sorted out by the spectator. The result is that some of the card are face up, and some are face down. The participant adds together either set of numbers to produce a random total. In a surprising climax, the performer reveals that this was known in advance, and the prediction was right in front of the audience from the very start!

Complete with special cards. No sleight of hand, and no gimmicks. Produced by Ton Onosaka's Magic Land of Japan.

True Hue (Phil Goldstein)
$20.00

The performer introduces an envelope which, it is explained, contains a forecast of a choice yet to be made. A set of cards is now displayed, each bearing a different color on its face. One is fairly chosen by the participant; for example, red. The prediction is withdrawn from the envelope, and found to be a piece of cardboard on which is printed: YOU WILL SELECT THIS COLOR. Beneath that text is a cut-out window. The performer puts the prediction over the chosen card, so that the selected color shows through the window. Of course, the spectator is not particularly impressed with this, as the prediction would be correct for any color over which the prediction was held. When the spectator has voiced this reaction, the performer turns the prediction over, revealing another statement printed on its back: WHAT-YOU DON'T BELIEVE I KNEW YOU WOULD SELECT RED?

Now the magic begins, as printing suddenly appears on the plastic chip: the word, "Start," plus an arrow, indicating where to begin. Imagine two groups of spectators, each multiplying two 2-digit numbers on a pocket calculator to arrive at a totally random 4-digit number. The performer writes a prediction and sets it aside. He then begins to slowly reveal the numbers that make up the 4-digit products arrived at by the spectators. The multiplication is then done by longhand to show that the calculator's products were correct. For the mind-numbing finish, the two products are added together and found to match the performer's prediction.

This routine, originally featured in Osterlind's Dynamic Mysteries, has not been widely performed due to the difficulties in obtaining the proper apparatus. Now, with DIGITAL FEEDBACK, you'll be able to add this powerful routine to your own show. You receive the very special scientific calculator, hand-modified by Richard Osterlind, plus a manuscript which describes this powerful routine, in addition to other possible effects.
